What a BEAUTIFUL day!!!
Today was just awesome. Trinity didn't have school, so it was me and the 3 kids today. In the morning, Isaac watched a movie, the girls played and I spent some time online (too much time actually). I got off here at about 9:30am to do some work around the house. I spend some time with the kids (mostly Isaac because the girls had a friend over) until Justin got home from work at 11:30ish. We ate lunch, the kids played with their friend while I sat and relaxed with Justin until it was time for him to go back to work.
In the afternoon, Isaac napped while the girls had a bath and I spent a bit more time online (not as much as this morning). After their bath they wanted to go outside, so we all went. The girls rode their bikes while I went onto the trampoline. Then Charity joined me and Trin continued to ride her bike. Then the girls switched turns, Trinity came on the trampoline with me while Charity rode her bike. After we were tired of that, we pulled out the sidewalk chalk, as well as the artist in all of us lol and did some sidewalk drawings :) After we were tired of that, we headed to the canopy swing for some relaxing time. We spent about half an hour there, where Charity ended up falling asleep and Trinity almost did as well. Trinity was hot so we then headed to the living room for some Aladdin and more relaxing time (out of the sun). We remained there until Trinity's friend Lorette showed up with some bubble solution and wands, so the kids went outside to play with that while I stayed inside with Isaac (I was watching from the big window in the living room, just making sure everyone was alright and safe).
Daddy arrived home about 40 minutes late. I guess he had met up with his sister at work, then headed to her in-law's place to pick up a movie that she wanted us to watch. He said that as soon as he got into the driveway Trinity asked if we could go to the park (they had been asking me since after lunch but Isaac was napping so we couldn't leave the yard) and he said yes. So, after having a little snack (a meatball sub and some cherry cheesecake, both of which I didn't have much of because of my diet). After we were done indulging ourselves (and Isaac), we headed to the park.
I have to tell you something about Isaac, he just LOVES it outside. As soon as anyone goes to the door, he is bolting down the stairs (crawling backwards) and is out that door in a flash. Then he's running wherever he can, as fast as he can lol. When it's time to go back inside....WATCH OUT...this kid has a FREAK attack!! Kicking and screaming and throwing his head back kind of freak attack lol.
Anyways, back to the park part of my little story. Isaac basically ran all the way there and headed straight for the play structure. Justin and I were right behind him on that thing, and he sat on our laps while we went down the slides. After a few times we all headed to the swingsets and swung our little hearts out lol. At one point, there was a dog running around and Isaac was freaking out and chasing after it. He chased it all the way home (which was RIGHT beside the park by the way), where there was another little boy around his age. When I picked him up to bring him back to the park he freaked out. As soon as I put him down he was fine, running around, playing on the play structure, getting rides in the wagon by Loretta. Then, at about 5:50pm we headed home for some dinner. The kids and I ate some BBQed Hamburgers and drank some nice cold chocolate milk.
Then it was time for the kids to head to bed. We got our jammies on, they gave daddy their hugs and kisses, then we headed upstairs to bed.
After the littles were in bed, Justin and I watched that movie his sister borrowed to us. I'm assuming we have to take it back to the movie rental store for her tomorrow, which is fine. The movie was August Rush and it was a pretty good movie, I really enjoyed it.
Now here I am, having some more "me time" before heading to bed. I guess you could call this my relax time (which it seems I've been doing a lot of today lol).
God Bless You,
Jackie
