Church tonight

was AWESOME!!!

We went to the church in the city that we had been going to last summer (the one we REALLY like). We haven't been there since before winter started, because it's so far away and we didn't want to drive all the way there in the winter time.

It's just an awesome church!! The worship music is AMAZING and they have babysitting for all the kids during the service (so we can actually LISTEN ). At this church, I dont know, I just feel the presence of the Lord SOO much . This is exactly the kind of church that we need, but unfortunately it is SOO far away from where we live.

Anyways, onto the church service.

Of course, a few minutes after the worship music started, it felt SOO much better than our regular church (if you know what I mean). It is just so uplifting

His message today was based on 2Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (NIV).

He talked about how, not matter what we've done in the past, as soon as you have Jesus, that is all gone and you start anew (put in my own words). He talked about Saul of Tarsus, and King David and Bethsheba were mentioned, as well as Gideon I believe.

After his message, we all bowed our heads and closed our eyes. He asked everyone if they had things in their past that they've been holding onto, to just put their hand up. He said that almost everyone had their hand up. He then led us through a powerful prayer (I was almost in tears).

It was just SOOO amazing!!!
