Isaac's 2 year appointment
was this afternoon at 1:40pm with the Public Health Nurse.
I started by telling her about his speech since he isn't saying many words. She filled out a referral form for speech therapy and faxed it right before I left. She said the wait is usually 6 months, but not to be surprised if Isaac gets in sooner because Charity is being seen already and the guy may just do both at the same visit. So, we'll see how that goes.
Here are his stats:
Weight: 27lbs. 15oz. (1oz. less than I thought but close enough, he gained about 2lbs. and 6 1/2 oz. in 6 months).
Length: 33 1/4 inches (was 30 5/8 inches at 18 months)
Head: 20 inches which is about the 90th percentile
She gave me this thing called an ASQ (checks development, been getting it every couple of months since he was born) and showed me his 18 month one. He's doing very well everywhere except for the Communication part but she didn't seem too concerned about it. So, I have to fill this out and send it back to her and I'm sure if there are any concerns, she'll let me know.
That's about it. So, all in all he's doing really well (which I knew he would).
God Bless,
Jackie
