Summer is almost over!!
In a few more weeks, Trinity will be going back to school..............grade 1 already *sigh*. Then it'll be back into a routine, except for now Trinity will be in school ALL DAY not just half days so it'll just me be and the younger 2. I mean, it'll be nice, but I'll miss having Trinity around all afternoon.
We've been having a GREAT summer. Most of it has been full of happiness and there has been some sadness as well. Justin had a birthday back in July and Isaac had a birthday a few days ago, and we also celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary a few days ago.
We also lost Justin's dad 2 weeks and 1 day ago. It was very sudden, he was fine one day and the next day he was gone, very unexpected. There was nothing anyone could do, he had bleeding in his brain that was incurable and if we hadn't chosen to let him go that day, the cancer would have eventually taken him anyway, and maybe in a more painful way (which he DID NOT want). We are all very saddened and miss him VERY much and will always miss him!
Trinity had swimming lessons for 2 weeks and she REALLY enjoyed that. She passed her first year (of course) and will move on to her 2nd year next summer. She has also gone to day camp a few times this summer, at the church behind where we used to live. She's really liked that as well. She was supposed to go at 9am this morning but Justin and I slept in until 9:30am (accidentally, our clock wasn't working because the power had gone out, plus it was dark because it's cloudy and rainy outside, so we had NO sense of time). So, she had to miss it, but it doesn't seem to be bothering her very much, she just got out of the bath and is now watching daddy play his video game.
Justin has also been off work since his dad passed away. He goes back Monday morning. We've been spending lots of time as a family and doing some cleaning around the house. He's been A LOT of help since he's been home but I'm ready for him to go back to work (Shhhh, don't tell him) :giggle (oops, that's only on my Christian board, hehe).
Anyways, all in all, it was a pretty good summer. Trinity is anxious to go back to school. Only 12 more sleeps until she starts grade 1, and sees all her friends again.
Time for me to go, until next time.
God Bless,
Jackie
