Busy Weekend

Last weekend was VERY busy for us!

Saturday morning was the parade for the stampede, so we all went to that. My dad, sister, both of my brothers and their families joined us. Well, my brother's were a bit late, so they missed most of the parade, they got there in time for the end. After the parade, everyone came over to our house for a visit. We ordered pizza for lunch and I got to hold my new nephew for a while, that was nice. Kind of made me want another, but yet again it didn't lol. It was nice being able to give him back to my SIL or brother lol.

Everyone (except for me and Justin) were going to the stampede midway for some rides, so I decided to take Trinity and go with them. Give her a chance to spend time with my sister (1 1/2 months older than her) and go on some rides again. So, I bought her 20 coupons for the rides. She went on the Ferris Wheel, the Dragon Wagon (roller coaster), the YoYo (swings), the Tilt-a-Whirl and another ride but I can't remember which one. While we were there, I got to hold my nephew again :). We also all went to the petting zoo and got some mini donuts to munch on. My dad and sister came back to the house with me and Trinity, visited for 10 minutes and then went to the hospital to visit my grandma (she has Dimentia and will be staying in the hospital until they find her a place to live), then they came back for 10 minutes and then went home.

Sunday morning, at about 10:30am, Justin felt like walking around the mall so we got everyone ready. He talked on the phone with his mom for 15 minutes and then we left. We went to Walmart first and had something to eat at McDonald's. Then we walked around Walmart for a long time. They had lots of clearance sales, so everyone got something (an outfit) and we bought Isaac his birthday present (because it's NEXT MONTH) and Trinity a coloring book. Then, we took the kids to the play area. I stood by the shopping cart and watched the kids while Justin went and looked around. When we were done, we went to the book store and looked around there. I gave Isaac a book to keep him quiet and he wouldn't let me take it away, so we ended up buying it for him (it was only $6.99). Then, we went to the food court to the Orange Julius/DQ thingy and got a drink and a Blizzard, shared that and then we left.

After the mall, we stopped by at Justin's parents' house for a little visit. When we got there, Justin's dad left to go to his parents' house for dinner. Justin's mom was supposed to go too but she wasn't feeling very well and wanted to stay home. She stayed and visited with us. Justin's dad showed up about an hour later and we visited with him as well. At about 8pm or so, we went home, put the kids to bed and went to bed ourselves shortly after.

All in all, it was a VERY busy weekend, just like I said at the beginning of this blog entry LOL!! Next weekend will be a bit busy, going to visit the in-law's in the afternoon and then going to a BBQ at a friend's house in the evening. Sunday, we will be going to church and then spending the rest of the day at home, and MAYBE the pool (if it's nice outside).
